The happy couple traveled around in Les's two door 1950s Saab 93B. Les and Connie affectionately named the car "Molly Bee".

Marriage intentions were filed with Chicopee City Clerk Arthur Balthazar by Leslie A. Fournier of 36 Kaveney St., assistant manager, and Constance M. Godek of 5 Burton St., Chicopee, a student.

Bay Path Student Plans Holiday Bridal

Announcement is made of the engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Constance Marion Godek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Godek of Burton St., Chicopee, to Leslie Allan Fournier, son of Mrs. Lillian Fournier of Kaveney St. Aldenville. The couple will be married Labor Day. Miss Godek is presently attending Bay Path Junior College. Her fiancé is employed as assistant manager at Topps.

Les and Connie's time together increased and their relationship grew stronger.

In their love for each other Les and Connie shared a passion and sensitivity for nature, birds, wildlife, woodlands, and a love of Cape Cod.

Throughout this time Les and Connie took many day trips together and also vacationed with Connie's family. The following year in 1963 they became engaged, and planned a wedding for Labor Day.
